Four Seasons Produce

Six years ago, the Zhenzhu Agricultural Leisure Area started to plant West Indian cherry, and it has begun to mature. The crop comes to harvest from April to November. Visitors can pick by themselves and make cherry jam and fruit vinegar.
The blooming butterfly pea flowers are also available for the public to pick and can be preserved in a container after drying. Besides hot brew, you can also brew it cold. The tea not only looks great but tastes good.
Rice is the principal food crop in the Zhenzhu Agricultural Leisure Area. Most of the residents are farmers. The black humus soil brought by floods caused by the Dongshan River, is suitable for rice growing. It is recognized for its high quality, and also shapes the culture. Besides serving as a staple food, there are also many tasty rice dishes.
